Mason finished his championship from the 9-12 month puppy
class with five majors.These were acquired in tough
competition at the Louisville and Raleigh circuits. He has
received numerous Group placements and Awards of Merit at
Labrador Specialties including the 2002 Labrador Retriever
Club of the Potomac, the 2001 Miami Valley Labrador
Retriever Club specialty, and the 2002 Labrador Retriever
Club, Inc. specialty. He has distinguished himself as one of
few in the breed to achieve both a Best in Specialty and Best
in Show win. In September 2004, Mason took Best of Breed at
the Labrador Retriever Club of the Twin Cities specialty
under breeder judge Michael Lanctot. In April 2005, Mason
took Best in Show at the Ft. Claire Kennel Club show in
Ohio.
